2025 Editorial Calendar

AIA|DC invites registered architects to submit projects for possible publication in ArchitectureDC magazine. To be considered, projects must be located within the Washington metropolitan area (defined broadly to include Maryland, northern Virginia, Delaware, and eastern West Virginia). Unless otherwise specified, both new construction and renovations/restorations are eligible for consideration in all categories. Preference is given to projects completed within the last two years.

Specific submission instructions will be included in each call for submissions, which will be published in AIA|DC’s weekly Newsflash and in a special email blast for each issue. The “Publication Date” listed for each issue below is the estimated date that first copies of the issue will be available to AIA|DC.

SPRING: Residential Projects (single- and multi-family)

  • First Call for Submissions Sent: ......October 21 (2024)

SUMMER: Interiors (any project type)
