The AIA|DC Women in Architecture and Design Committee (WIA) celebrates women across the AEC industry to lead, innovate, and thrive. Through our programming, we advocate for systemic change and foster mentorship, collaboration, and visibility that advance women’s impact in the field of architecture, design, and construction.

- Provide career development through education, mentorship, and networking.
- Encourage licensure, promotion, and advancement to leadership.
- Advocate for gender equity and inclusion in design practices and awards
- Increase visibility of women’s contributions in architecture, design, and construction
- Strengthen relationships with allied organizations and policy makers.
Meetings & Events
1st Wednesday of every month
Location: Hybrid at Member Office and Via Zoom (location & virtual link will rotate).
Time: 6-7:30 pm.
