LA.IDEA is an acronym for Latin American Interior Designers, Engineers, and Architects. Our mission is to become the leading collective of Latin American design professionals in the Washington, D.C. area.
Goals
2026 Intiatives:
- Maintain relationships and communications with key sponsors.
- Strengthen mentorship pipelines for Latinx students and emerging professionals.
- Curate annual exhibitions showcasing Latinx architects and community-rooted projects.
- Draft and implement Committee Code of Conduct and Meeting Norms.
- Launch bilingual storytelling campaigns to elevate Latinx representation in architecture.
- Protect coalition reputation through incident documentation and sponsor stewardship reports.
