The Emerging Architect Award recognizes individuals of all ages who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession in an early stage of their architectural career.

Eligibility:

AIA|DC members in good standing within the first ten (10) years of professional experience. Nominees need not be licensed, but must have graduated from a NAAB-Accredited degree program within the last 10 years.

Submission Requirements:    

• Nomination Letter: One-page summary of the nominee’s achievements and contributions to the field.
• Supporting Materials: Not to exceed ten (10) pages that best demonstrate the nominee’s accomplishments. Proper credit for material presented and its accuracy is the responsibility of the nominator.
• Candidate Biography: Two-page maximum.
• Letters of Recommendation: No more than three (3) one-page letters of support.
