StudioMB Architects, located on Connecticut Avenue in historic DuPont Circle, Washington, D.C., actively seeks clients who share a passion for design excellence.  The firm is dedicated to pursuing a range of project types and provides complete professional services in the fields of architecture, campus and community planning, and urban design.

Together principals David C. Bagnoli, AIA and Adam McGraw, AIA, bring over 50 years of experience to the practice.  Throughout their careers their work has received numerous awards at the highest levels of the profession, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Honor Award for both Urban Design and Housing, as well as two Congress for the New Urbanism Charter Awards, and numerous local and state AIA awards.

The firm’s collaborative approach to design relies on the guiding hand of the principals on each project in conjunction with input from employees, consultants and clients to ensure creative solutions are thoroughly investigated throughout the design process.  To ensure personal involvement of the principals in every job, the firm purposefully limits the number of active projects within the office at any point.

StudioMB recognizes that just as important as design quality is its responsibility to keep a project within a client’s Scope, Schedule and Budget, and excels at meeting these responsibilities through frequent and meaningful review of a project’s goals throughout the design and construction process.  The firm believes that such deep knowledge of execution, construction, and delivery is critical to the mutual success of both the firm and its clients.
