HGA is an integrated architecture, engineering, and planning firm that helps prepare its clients for the future. Our founding principals—Richard Hammel, Curt Green, and Bruce Abrahamson—established precedence for collaboration, aesthetic achievement, and client service. These criteria, established in 1953, still inspire HGA today as architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and allied professionals collaborate to develop solutions uniquely suited to each client.

With offices in Minneapolis and Rochester, Minnesota; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose, California; and Alexandria, VA, HGA has expertise in the cultural arts, healthcare, public / corporate, community, and higher education industries.
