Donald Lococo has an uncanny ability to turn people into houses. No other architect could have ever imagined our home. He might have met with us for month before he ever picked up a pencil. But from a blank piece of paper, the result is not only original and architecturally striking, but a home perfectly designed around our individual lifestyles, personalities, and habits. Donald is gifted with unique eye for landscape, setting, architecture, and interior that is a potent combination. He is passionately irreverent in both his approach and design, yet deeply respectful to the best of classic elements that give a home character. His attention to detail includes both the largest vantage points to the smallest of finishing details. He never stopped designing during the two year construction, continually improving and refining every surface and every angle. Supporting Donald, the DLA team has been a pleasure to work with and a lifesaver in navigating construction management process.
