About
The mission of the AIA|DC Resiliency & Disaster Relief Committee (RDRC) is to serve as emergency support volunteers to assist regional government and communities in building a more prepared and resilient community through preparedness, response, and recovery activities.
Goals
2025 Initiatives:
- Continue working with AIA DC Advocacy committee to engage council members in DC government to ratify Good Samaritan Law and establish a MOU for disaster response.
- Organize a response network of local architects, regional and AIA national.
- Provide Resiliency focused presentations and awareness outreach.
- Initiate SAP training program refresh (Q2) and follow-up (Q4)
